Terms of Service
Acceptance of terms
PointsLegend is a brand of HireGlobalteam LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using PointsLegend (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
The service
PointsLegend aggregates and distributes information about credit card points deals, award flight availability, cash fares, and transfer bonuses. We deliver personalized alerts by email.
What we don't do:
- ·We don't sell tickets or travel bookings
- ·We don't book travel on your behalf
- ·We don't act as a travel agent or broker
- ·We don't guarantee deal availability — airlines and loyalty programs can change or withdraw offers at any time
Your account
- ·You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- ·You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account
- ·Provide accurate information, especially your home airport and program preferences — the Service can't match deals to you otherwise
- ·One account per person
Subscriptions and billing
- ·Paid plans (Premium, Founder) are processed through Stripe
- ·Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled
- ·You can cancel anytime from account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, not immediately
- ·7-day refund window on your first purchase — contact us within 7 days for a full refund
- ·We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
- ·The one-time Founder plan is non-refundable after the 7-day window
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- ·Scrape, re-distribute, resell, or republish our alerts or deal data
- ·Share your login with others or operate multiple accounts to bypass plan limits
- ·Use the Service in violation of any law or to infringe third-party rights
- ·Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, probe, or disrupt the Service
- ·Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages
Affiliate disclosure
Some links in our alerts are affiliate links. If you book through these links, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence which deals we surface — we recommend deals based on value, not commission.
Intellectual property
- ·PointsLegend branding, software, written content, and alert formatting are owned by us
- ·You grant us a limited license to use your account data as needed to operate the Service
- ·Third-party marks (airline and credit card brands referenced on the site) belong to their respective owners; their inclusion does not imply endorsement
Disclaimers
- ·The Service is provided "as is" and "as available"
- ·We don't guarantee that deals will be bookable at the time you see them — always verify on the booking site before redeeming
- ·Points values, redemption rates, and transfer bonuses change. We work hard to be accurate but can't guarantee it.
- ·We are not a financial advisor or fiduciary. Decisions about credit cards, points strategies, and travel purchases are yours.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PointsLegend is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; some provisions (Intellectual property, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Governing law) survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms over time. We'll post changes here and update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we'll give you at least 30 days' advance notice by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
